Okay, so hears the deal ladies! I do not know how to get onto other peoples blog, to get invited to read it? You know I am not computer smart at all, so Mona I am not ignoring you, I just don't know how to access your blog, and the same goes for Stephanie. I really want to read your blogs and make comments but I am computer illiterate. So help me please, signed loser!!!!!! He He!!!!!
Anyways moving on. The summer is almost to a close and i feel like it hasn't lasted long enough! I think I'm crazy though because aren't most parents celebrating and I'm feeling kind of sad!!! You all know that staples commercial when the father is going down the aisle with the shopping cart singing it's the most wonderful time of the year ( well of course, miraculously shopping for school supplies, what normal man can multi task like that I wonder? ). So here comes the busy school days, daily reading assignments, homework, yw's, P.T.A., school activities, fundraisers, "no your friends can't come over today" fights, etc... Oh well at least it makes the cold winter days go faster. The next thing on the agenda is Birthdays and Baptism!!!!!!!! Can you believe it my baby is going to be baptized, how crazy is that!!!! The next thing is Halloween, then Christmas, New Years, Reading week ( a.k.a. family ski trip!!! ), Easter and then summer holidays, Yeah!!!!!! Of course all the crazy stuff in between.
Kendon and I just got back from spending the weekend away from the kids. We went to Canmore, AB. It is absolutely gorgeous there, beautiful mountains, and green everywhere. We went with out the kids it was glorious!! Sleeping in, swimming, hiking, shopping, eating out, "napping". You know all the wonderful things we all use to do without the need for a extra change of clothes, sippy cups, diapers, sweaters, strollers, playpens, etc.... Oh the glory of walking out into the rain with no jacket and sandals! For three days I was young and care free!!! No longer the role of responsible mom but of a newly wed. Ahhhhhh!!!!!!! But of course all good things must come to a end, and we were missing our little knee nibblers to much. I mean what the heck did we use to do before the kids!!!!! There are so few things that are more exciting than a first step or a first word or kids laughing well they tell a "not at all funny" joke. I love the chance to rekindle your love as husband and wife, as lovers, as friends but my children and life as a mother is so much more fullfiling that anything else I could do!!!!!!! Love you all and I hope you've all had a great summer. Bring on School!!!!!!!!!!
